Proven Quality
Quality is an integral part of VOGTLAND´s culture, our Quality Management Systems are in line with ISO TS 16949 and certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 standards which are supported internally by engineering, testing capabilities, and training programs to maintain the highest quality assurance standards.
Our focus on these aspects of our business has made VOGTLAND a respected and integral part of the European spring making community. Additionally VOGTLAND is a member of the Association of German Spring Manufacturer (VDFI) where only manufacturers are represented.
Our products are TÜV approved; the Quality Management System is verified by the Federal Office of Motor Vehicles which is critical in achieving TÜV Certification. Therefore, you can be assured that a VOGTLAND product will properly function in its intended application and provide the lasting quality that you desire. VOGTLAND is an active member of these automotive aftermarket associations SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and VDAT. The Quality Seal from the Association of German Automobile Tuners (VDAT) underscores our competency as a suspension system specialist.

Design and Development…
In our Technical Center we initiate the suspension design with VOGTLAND’s clearly defined design process by reviewing the OE spring and suspension components, we determine the significant vehicle suspension data and develop the proper springs specifically for each car make and model. Our engineers determine the best compromise between ride and handling characteristics. We tailor the ride height to ensure that the vehicle provides a lowered and aggressive appearance yet still maintains the appropriate ride height for the suspension to function properly.
The spring kits are tuned to function with the OE dampers, although VOGTLAND recommends a high performance damper available with our sport suspension kits for optimum handling and performance. Finally the TÜV homologation is prepared, coordinated and approved as well as the relevant quality checks are documented by this department.

Shock Absorber…
Our springs are developed to match the stock shock absorbers. However, they can also be combined with any quality brand-name sport shock absorbers presently available on the market. Our complete suspension kits ensure that the shock absorber characteristics are perfectly matched to the springs characteristics.
The vehicles dynamic appearance is a result from lowering the car 30 to 60 mm. Even with this amount of lowering VOGTLAND springs maintain the necessary preload for a proper installation. These are significant aspects which require many years of experience in addition to state-of-the-art design programs. We ensure that the springs and shock absorbers in the VOGTLAND complete suspension kits are matched to one another so that the required initial spring tension is always present, also when
lowering more than 40 mm.

The Production
VOGTLAND sport springs are produced using special oil tempered spring steels of high tensile strength chrome-silicon (CrSi) and chrome-silicon-vanadium (CrSiV) alloys using the cold coiling process. This provides reduced spring weight with high material strength, and the desired effect of uniformly reducing the unsprung weight of the vehicle - thereby optimising the handling characteristics.
To ensure years of useful service all VOGTLAND suspension springs are manufactured by utilising only the finest suspension grade spring alloys and coiled on sophisticated CNC controlled Wafios spring coiling machines. After the cold coiling process, all suspension springs are tempered, shotpeened and preset to ensure consistent vehicle ride height and suspension function. Low grade products will loose length with high dynamic impact. However VOGTLAND springs will not let you down because of our sophisticated presetting program.
Finally the springs are phosphated and powder coated to ensure a superior corrosion barrier for years of service.
